I say a happy new year, and I command God’s blessing and peace upon you in Jesus name. The new year is a year of new glory because God has purposed to take you higher in his heart.
II Corinthians 3:18 (KJV)
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
The Holy Spirit has impressed my heart to share this scripture with you. In addition, I will love to look at the message translation of this same bible verse.
II Corinthians 3:18 (Message Translation)
All of us! Nothing between us and God, our faces shining with the brightness of his face. And so, we are transfigured much like the Messiah, our lives gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful as God enters our lives and we become like him.
What it Takes to Walk in New Glory
From this scripture, it is clear that God is interested in positive changes in the lives of God’s saved children. The standard with which God measures the change is Jesus Christ. It is written that we behold his glory, the glory of the only begotten of the father.
To move from old glory to a new, the condition is to keep on beholding the glory of God (Christ). Make sure that your focus, time, and attention is on Christ in the place of prayer and bible study throughout the year 2022. In the process of beholding, things we change.
our lives gradually become brighter and more beautiful as God enters our lives and we become like him.
It is my prayer that everything about your marriage, relationship, business, career, finances, education, prayer life, bible study life, giving, ministry, church, calling will significantly become brighter and more beautiful as God enters into them.
Another thing that we must give attention to is that we are likely to become whatever we are beholding increasingly. Therefore, in the year 2022, we must deliberately choose to behold the word of God and other positive images. For instance, beholding the word of God should be the only option for someone in crisis. When such choose to behold problem, things go from bad to worse. Therefore, using the word of God as your lens, choose a thriving church or marriage or business or life which you can behold. Paul, the apostle, said, follow me as I follow Christ.
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. (Philippians 4:8)
I want you to be deliberate about living a victorious life in the new year because Christ will not desire less for you. You start by accepting Jesus Christ as your saviour and Lord if you have not done so
