Dealing with Household Wickedness

 

1Ki 3:19-23

And this woman’s child died in the night; because she overlaid it.   And she arose at midnight, and took my son from beside me, while thine handmaid slept, and laid it in her bosom, and laid her dead child in my bosom. 

And when I rose in the morning to give my child suck, behold, it was dead: but when I had considered it in the morning, behold, it was not my son, which I did bear. 

And the other woman said, Nay; but the living is my son, and the dead is thy son. And this said, No; but the dead is thy son, and the living is my son. Thus they spake before the king. 

 Then said the king, The one saith, This is my son that liveth, and thy son is the dead: and the other saith, Nay; but thy son is the dead, and my son is the living. 

 

The two prostitutes in this story had babies born to them three days apart and one of them was careless with hers. She rolled over her baby and her body weight killed the baby. To make up for her loss, she stole her roommate’s living baby in the middle of the night and placed her dead child on her roommate’s bosom.

We must realize that wickedness and deceit are tools that the household enemy always use. The household wickedness becomes unhappy to see anyone enjoy good things of life. For instance, enjoying: a marriage, good health, educational advancement, and financial breakthrough makes household wickedness uncomfortable. They make attempt to kill the joy of the good things of life and replace with the pains and sorrow of divorce, unemployment, sickness, backwardness, poverty and failure.

 

Anytime I imagine how the story played out, I am worried. Among the cause of my worry is how the prostitute who stole her roommate’s baby exchanged pleasantries with her roommate in the morning. Let us name the evil one who stole the Baby Prostitute A and the original mother of the living child Prostitute B. The following conversation must have ensued.

Prostitute A: Good morning my sister, I noticed that your baby has been quiet this morning hope no

problem

Prostitute B: Help my baby no longer breathes

Prostitute A (rushing to Prostitute B nursery with so much concern and care): You don’t mean it?

Prostitute B (Looking at Baby critically quietly whispers): this is not my baby

Prostitute B calls the living Baby with Prostitute B by name and the baby chuckles with a smile after this he changed her whisper to a loud noise directed to Prostitute B.

Prostitute B: The living baby with you is mine and the dead in my bird is not mine but yours.

Prostitute A: The living child is mine not yours.

Deceit of the Wicked One

The enemy is trained to operate unnoticed like this prostitute who stole the living child from her roommates. The prostitute whose child was stolen considered/examined the dead baby and concluded that this baby is not hers. This made her to bring the matter before King Solomon.

In our generation, the enemy has further perfected ignorance in the life of those they stole good things from and replace with the dead. Many victims, explain the dead which is satanic replacement with various names. For example, some may explain the atrocities of the wicked with a big medical name I have type Q Oedema. Another, can explain the happy home that suddenly turns to a boxing ring with the term stress. It is high time we gave the conditions the right name and change the whispers to loud cry for deliverance.

The verdict of the king

Anything you notice to be abnormal in your life should be taken to God the judge of heaven and earth (Luke 18: 1-8). At the throne the intention of the woman became clearer after the king instructed that a sword is used to cut the living baby into two.

Let it be neither mine nor thine, but divide it.  (I kings 3:26b)

She wanted her friend’s child to also die. This means that if you don’t collect what is yours from household wickedness, they will destroy it. I remember the testimony Pastor Adeboye shared of a sister who is old enough to marry but she has remained single. The word of the Lord came from Dady Adeboye that whosoever is behind the problem of that sister will die in few days. The lady reported to her mother and the mother came to challenge pastor Adeboye. The man of God used wisdom and the woman later confessed that she is the one behind her daughter’s problem. She was afraid that her daughter would abandon her if she has her own family because she is the only child she has. If you are fighting household wickedness, no negotiation can handle the problem.

Prayer Points

1. I recover my stolen joy from the hands of household enemy in the name of Jesus.
2. Violent angels, pursue and destroy anyone in my family that is secretly harming my destiny in the name of Jesus.
3. Every satanic technology of deceit that has kept in the dark expire in the name of Jesus.
4. I return to the wicked, dead (insert what you know is not yours that the enemy has exchanged e.g marriage, finance, prayer life, finances, health) that the enemy is given me in Jesus name.
5. I recover from the wicked my  (insert what you know is yours that the enemy has stolen e.g marriage, finance, prayer life, finances, health) that the enemy is given me in Jesus name.
6. Angel of Solution bring me out of pain and tears that wicked has place me in
7. I chase the wicked friend or relation that is smiling at me but hates my joy into the pit of destruction.
8. Power that hates my full scale laughter, collide with God.
